Important Equipment

Posted by:
Every festival is new and exciting and you never really know what to bring on each one. There are certain things to bring for sure, but at other times it may be different. It may be a perfect, sun shining day spent at a festival, and while you are hanging out with your friends, it begins to pour. You find yourself drenched and amidst floods and lots of water. Maybe you thought the festival would be like the last one and you didn't need to bring anything for the rain. But you were wrong. There will always, without a doubt, be something unexpected, and you should be prepared for literally anything.
What should I bring to a festival? You may be asking yourself. I must be prepared for every circumstance, so what do I bring? Well, do you plan on staying the night or a few days running? Then bringing a tent and a sleeping bag are your top priority. Depending on how many people are going with you and how much equipment you will have is what will determine what size tent you will need.
You are going to be out in the sun for a whole day at least, so bring some sun cream to rub on your skin to protect you from sunburn. Of course you are going to want to take some memories home with you, and pictures are a good idea. Bring a camera and you can have a whole album of memories. The toilets at most of these events are very public- especially at the campsite- and don't generally have toilet paper, so bring some rolls of your own. Don't forget a good sized backpack to carry all of this in.
Bring a bottle of water that you can constantly refill so you don't dehydrate in the sun. Also, just in case of an accident, a first aid kit is strongly suggested for you to bring. You will be very glad to have it when an injury happens.
